Goals and dreams

Dreams only become realities when we have written goals that we share with others. Many people dream but fewer people set goals. Dreams without the plan to execute is merely a fantasy. Goals that are tied to dreams will become achievements.  

To write a book one day is a dream. To write 1,000 words a day, 5 days a week for 6 months is a goal.

To be creative is a dream. Reading for 20 minutes a day while journaling one new idea is a goal. 

To get healthy and fit is a dream. Waking up at 6 am, running on the treadmill for 30 minutes three times a week is a goal. 

Setting a goal is the most practical way to see your dream come true. Write down your goal. Invest the time. Ask yourself daily if you are meeting your goal or failing. This will quickly help you realize you are responsible for seeing your dream become a reality.
